Its not one or the other. With Lavinier gone and Devine possibly out forever. Even signing Uwakwe, we have him, Shade and Hutton for the wing back roles, so you need one more. Genesini could be the Hutton back up still.

Additionally the cold hard truth of trialists is a lot are used to fill gaps in preseason to make sure you manage the minutes of the players you have. If someone impresses great, but odds are often against. So now the season has started they can be moved on.
