Did we not have an option to buy him at an agreed price?

What i dont understand is why agree that deal if you cant afford it in the first place.

Well I assume Michelle agreed to a theoretical price just to get the loan over the line.  He was probably a bit desperate at the end of the window. Tomlinson was also injured so not the greatest deal.

Or… if he does well, they may be able to get a few quid for him in January….

No Jephcott/Tomlinson style prearranged fee for Kemp then?  Head Hurts

Who knows. Sounds a sensible idea, though.

MK will be hopping he has a great season then worth a a couple of million aka twine. That’s why they’ve loaned him out. Works for both sides.

If they think he is going to be worth a couple of million in time, im pretty sure he would be in their team!

It’ll be a similar situation to Doyle. January will see him with only 6 months left on his contract. MK either sell him then or let him go for nowt next summer.

They're more than likely hedging. If he does very well, then his stock rises and they can sell in Jan {maybe give Town first refusal} or even get him to sign a new contract for the purposes of trying to sell him for a bit more {conditional contract/release clause - sold if value x is met}. If he does ok then Town probably in the box seat to sign him on a free. If he does shit then he leaves MK, Town don't even sign him and he ends up playing for Runcorn Linnets next season.

I don't think he plays in an Franchise shirt again though - unless they have an absolute horrendous injury crisis.

I find it strange that they've just been relegated don't want him in their squad or want to sell him.

Also the possibility come January MK could have a completely different manager with different ideas.
So could we for that matter.
High unlikely but come January MK could have sacked their manager, we could have sacked Flynn and he could be the MK manager…

Chennaiyin FC now in talks with Australian CB Curtis Good. No idea if it effects them trying to sign Ryan Edwards but that could be the foreign signing they were quoted to be signing today.
