I think back to the Michael Flynn rallying cry at the end of last season where he stated he only wanted players that wanted to give everything for the Swindon shirt.

You wonder whether he's trying to use the fact that we are a big club in this division as the carrot over having to pay over the odds. So far, that doesn't appear to be working. I guess you need someone with the right motivation. Hopefully Flynn finds what he's looking for.

That crossed my mind as well. Our size makes us appealing if we’re competing financially with other clubs but if it’s the choice of a few extra hundred quid a week and an extra year on the contract somewhere else then a players not going to pick us because we have a big stadium and are (hopefully) a big fish in a small pond.

Posh allegedly close to agreeing a deal for Colchester RB Junior Tchamadeu and still in negotiations with Josh Emmanuel.

Think that will probably end their interest in Hutton if both go through.

But got to be a prime candidate - unless you can think of another way of saving that? That's not a dig - I just can't see where it comes from outside the likes of binning Sandro and internally promoting.

Ideally we'd increase revenue 500K of course..

I remain staunchly against the home kit, slightly disappointed with the lack of early window transfer activity, very happy with the new away kit, and unconvinced with some of our current squad. Multi-faceted.

Similar, but I'd class myself a bit more than slightly disappointed with the transfer activity, given I no longer consider it to be early.

I think you obviously sign Conor Wickham in League Two if you can get him unless he turns up about 3 stone overweight or something. 

We seem to be offering trials the players and then missing out on them. If he's fit, just sign him Flynn.
