Not worth it for the 5 or 6 posts, the Wrexham thread constisted of about 30 posts.

I was being a bit of a cunt to be fair, but I do concur that I think the Transfer Rumours thread is one that probably should stay on subject if possible. That said I do know how easy it is to stray off it.

Any other rumours apart from a 29 year old keeper from National League (now regional)

Actual rumour time. LS Pods very own Dan Hunt linking us to Yeovils GK Grant Smith. Would assume as backup.
10 clean sheets in a side relegated isnt bad.

Turns 30 this year, will ask my mate who works at Yeovil FC what he is like.

Don’t see Ward as #1, but would be happy to have him as back up

This.

Third’ed.

I think he’s fine as cover for a few games but don’t think he would be good as your first choice for the season.

Ward was very good in the run-in last year, so has proved himself to be L2 capable in my eyes. Excellent on penalties too, whether against Gabriel Jesus or Port Vale!

Think he would be fine with a decent defence in front of him. But, with us having a porous defence, he might struggle.

Doesn't command his area enough for me, decent shot stopper but hardly ever come sout to claim crosses and his kicking is awful.

He’s the perfect backup keeper imo.

That stellar performance away at FGR still resonates with me.

So you're saying that he's basically Nicky Hammond. By which I mean the 20th Century slightly iffy goalkeeper, rather than his incarnation this century as a highly paid player recruitment head / consultant.

Not our rumours but . . .

've been told #ColU will have a top 8 budget + there is a real attraction to the Garner 'project'.

Jack Bridge (#Blues)
Jonny Williams (#STFC)
Mandela Egbo (#CAFC)
Alex Pattison (#HarrogateTown)
Liam Kinsella (#Saddlers)
Luke Jephcott (#PAFC)

I have heard similar, they are definately after Williams and the rest are all decent L2 performers so it wouldnt surprise me at all. I have heard Jack Payne and Joe Wollacott also linked to them.
