How about Luke Armstrong from Harrogate? Only watched him on the game on ifollow but he looked big, strong and scored 16 goals last season in a struggling side.

Now that's a good suggestion

I'd be tempted to re-visit Harry Smith from Orient.

Yet we persisted in playing a player who was only on loan to us from L1.

Yes Adeloye looked shocking at times but he came to us with Ayr fans saying he is a big target man, almost a battering ram type of player like Umerah. But we still didnt play him, especially as he is still contracted for another season at Town. At least put him in the shop window.

Exactly - why play Jepchott when he wasn't going to stay anyway? Adeloye may have been useless but at least playing him we could have definitively said that...

I think we were linked with him already but Ben Whitfield from Barrow has just had a productive season. 5 goals and 12 assists,  attacking midfielder/winger.

Owen Moxon another impressive one but imagine he’ll be moving up a division one way or another.

I would be tempted by his return too, a good target man.

Danny Mayor released at Plymouth. Any chance he'd drop down?

Think he left to go back closer to his family in the north. His Wikipedia says he has "has agreed to sign a three year deal with Wrexham AFC effective from 15th June 2023 in return for a role as part of the main cast of Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia."  Cheesy

Wouldn't surprise me, probably well out of our price range anyway. Always looks useful though.

Harry Smith released by Orient.

We should probably sign him, even if it’s to stop him scoring against us

I always liked him, but he seems to always fall out of favour quickly wherever he is.
