Lavinier looks to have a higher ceiling of potential between the two as well. Having a great LB in Tomlinson would provide better balance for us too.

Get some cash for Hutton, use a % of that to sign FBT and Tomlinson, (who I suspect Posh might release anyway) instill Lavinier as RB and Tomlinson as LB and I think that's a pretty good result.

Somewhere like Plymouth seems more realistic.

What I saw pre/early season, my thoughts were that Lavinier looked a better bet at right back and then Hutton took his chance with both hands (or feet?) and since has looked quite a good player. If there is a swap on the cards I would take Tomlinson without a doubt based upon last seasons performances provided he is fit/injury free enough to slot straight in to the team.

Based on the limited evidence for all concerned, I'd take Tomlinson for Hutton with Lavinier taking the RB slot.  Hutton looks like he has some potential going forward but is very suspect in defence, Lavinier looks more assured going backwards but very one footed from the left.  That would improve our team I think.

Less likely and not until 31st Jan I suspect now they know we are snuffling about like little pigs.

‘Huge interest’ in Hutton should see what someone is prepared to pay. If it’s more than Tomlinson would cost, that’d be the way to go.

Or they stump up a nominal fee to go along with Tomlinson, like £50k or something all up front.

I think that would be a good deal.

I like Hutton as an attacker and think he could make a decent right winger, less impressed as a right back.

Lavinier though looks to have the full arsenal of skills to become a decent right back, hes wasted on the left and will easily fit into the RB/RWB role.

If we can get money for Hutton and get Tomlinson as part of the deal then we are all onto a winner IMO.

Better if we can sign Tomlinson on a perm deal and if there is any money left over put in a bid for FBT.

Huttons delivery is nowhere near good enough to be a winger

I give you this list of wingers who he is currently better than already Shakes, Macnamee, Garrick, Stevens, Barry, Brophy, McGlashan, Woolery, Gordon, Mitchell-Lawson etc etc.

Super vibey and random rumour from the Facebook group that we are tracking 2 x New Zealand internationals from Wellington Phoenix.

6'4 GK Oli Sail
Attacking midfielder Ben Old.

Absolutely zero idea on the credibility of the rumours but thought I'd post nonetheless.

it's a rumours thread, obscure rumours are the best. Really weird names to pluck out of the air suggests either credibility or a very very bored troll?
