Can't help you with that but a bit surprised Jake Forster-Caskey has signed for Stevenage. Along with Alex Gilbey, also from Charlton that's 2 cracking bits of business for them, which is a shame as they are such a gimpoid football club.

JFC is a very good mate of Gilbeys, and he will get game time there which hes not been getting at Charlton, fairly local to London too, decent signing TBF. I hate Evans but hes getting great results there this season on "apparently" a fairly smallish budget.

Also hes just coming back from a serious injury hence them selling him for a pittance.

Turned down AFC Wombles to go there.

Yeah after failing miserably at Gillingham he's really turned it around at Stevenage. I know many didn't fancy them to do very much but they are well in the race for automatic promotion. You have to give him credit where it's due, much to my chagrin.

Failing miserably? he got them 10th in league one twice and then in the final season had absolutely zero investment, a small squad ravaged by injuries etc.

Which now coincides with them flirting with an exit out of the FL.

Yeah failing miserably is doing him a disservice to be fair. For some reason I recalled his spell at the Gills as a total disaster but a top 10 finish in league 1 twice is definitely decent for a club their size.

Connor Wickham has left FGR.
Scored 9 in 20 there.

Just what we could do with. Another striker to not create any chances for

Was only ever a short term contract.
Guess he thinks he can get something better / longer / more money else where off the back his a decent spell of form.

Kinda like when we signed Pericard…!!!!
