This might be a minor thing to complain about but having it all over Sky Sports News that Austin has signed and no official announcement is fucking tin pot.

As Batch says most deals are announced by the media before they are officially announced by a club due to FA clearance, I suspect you knew that anyway but the good news was too much for you to deal with

Think it's more cuntish on sky's part. They weren't supposed to release until the club did.

RE Khan I think he falls into the camp of we think he's better because the rest of the midfield have been poor, I'm certain we will be trying to get better in over the next few weeks

Surely you announce it subject to clearance? Been the case before.

Presumably we will be making a profit off this sale? Our model may be yielding results. I would be disappointed if Khan left as I think he has real potential.

Either way we shouldn’t be looking to offload our best midfielder the first chance we get.

I get the model is to get players in and sell for a profit (which I assume we would be doing) but we aren’t going to see any benefit if the time frame involved is literally 6 months.

maybe so. maybe they wanted to at least get a "fax" back saying paperwork received. or maybe just putting together the unveiling video!

either way he's here!

Surely we don't persist with Jephcott now?

Him and Austin up top together would be like having two Pitmans. Zero mobility.

Good that he's here and fingers crossed that is not a massive disappointment, but it is all setting off a few bell's insofar who is leading on all this.

Nothing being said until Austin's side start briefing anyone who will listen that he wants to come back but the dastardly manager and tech director don't want him, leading to all manner of unrest from the fans about the club management.

Not announced by club but then interview with player pops up on Sky, leading to questions being asked again and derogatory remarks being made about the management.

What happens next, Austin doesn't like what's going on  and suddenly everything that's going on in dressing room is being briefed to all and sundry with sky interviews.

Has scope to be brill, has scope to be a total pantomime, fingers crossed its the former, but everyone needs to remember, no one is bigger than the club.

if they think they can get better and make a profit I wouodnt blame them. Don't think he's even a guaranteed starter either so can understand why they would
