Time to make up for the bobble
Would be more than happy to see that happen.

Is the banner directed at the Wembley Ground staff?  Very odd.

Does sound a bit like a threat though....

Seems that he’s under contract at QPR until June 2023,  can’t see us being able to afford to buy him, suppose a loan could be on the cards,  free up a wage at Shepherd’s Bush.

QPR fans love him and I doubt we could even pay much more than 10% of his £20k a week at Rangers.

Do they?! A quick check of Twitter doesn't agree with you!

Really? on one of the big QPR forums they seem to love him.

TBF I never use Twatter so dont see opinions on there.

Quote
If you asked the vast majority of QPR fans who is the one player they’d most like to sign this summer, the general consensus would respond: Charlie Austin.

The prolific frontman is a fans’ favourite in W12 – and rightly so – having scored 56 goals in 111 games across two spells.

I've seen him getting absolute pelters on there. Just a quick search of his name on Twitter...

"Its nice that Charlie Austin got to retire in a QPR shirt…

…just wasn’t expecting it to be in February"

"I’m gonna throw out 2 names to blame for why we haven’t made the playoffs……..Charlie Austin and Lyndon Dykes! You can’t have 2 forwards who are absolutely shit and hope to achieve anything"

"It’s hard to build momentum off those 2. They both offer nothing, no pace, no aerial power, no guile, nothing!"

"Charlie Austin has called the fans out this season on a fairly constant basis, he’s been so bad for us, come on every time looking overweight and it’s about time someone said it, club legend yes, I love him for what he did yes, but my god@it’s been bad"

If there was any chance at all then I am sure 99% of our fans would have him back in a heartbeat, even a 50% Charlie would score 20+ a season in this league.

Fair shout, except the optimistic amongst us would wonder if he can do that in L1 next season?

Pessimism is still rife in my own head on promotion, but a fair shout, L1 would give us a better chance of course.

Well he has been wined and dined in our boardroom this season, so they may have put something together for next season. Let’s see what happens!

As my mate oft says, if if’s and buts were pots and pans, a tinker I would be. At 9.30 tonight our season could effectively be over in which  case everything thus far could be academic.
