Yeah i can't see us getting him back tbh. I think we either get Simpson or Andy Williams back on loan,the trialist lad to sign and maybe a out the blue signing.

Not sure how I feel about Andy Williams coming back if true, he was all about pace when he was here and at 35 I’m sure that will pretty much be gone now so other than a bit of experience not sure what he will add. Cheltenham are in a relegation battle so it’s surprising they’d let him go if he was still useful to have around.

See what you are saying. I think he could be a useful player to have around and come on later in games.

However, why would he come here to sit on our bench instead of Cheltenham's? I can see Nam may need to shuffle the decks and offload to get people in.

With Barry and Davison signing I can't see Simpson coming back personally, but would love to be wrong. Apparently there is interest in Simpson from Championship clubs and so Ipswich's eyes must now see the ££ signs in their teenage striker that they didn't before he had his loan spell at us.

I've heard there may be some surprising signings, from someone who is usually accurate with his news so today is definitely going to be interesting one way or another.
