Depends on what formation we are playing as well? Could be a 3-5-1- or 4-4-1-1 seems like we want to pack the midfield (and also cover our older/injury-prone players)

I wouldn't be surprised to see us bring in one more CM. So far:
Reed, Grant and Lyden seem to be the first choices, bar Lydens injury history.
East seems cheap backup/depth, whilst also potentially being another project player.
Dabre a project player.
Gladwin and Payne, whilst can play CM, will most likely be used further up the pitch, offering cover for CM where required.

Given Lydens injury record, a final CM (potentially Kelly as he's still training with the squad) may complete the jigsaw, especially if we go for a 433 formation.

From what I read, Garner favours 433

That could be because thats the best formation for the quality of players available to him at Rovers.

Tyreik Wright sneakily rumoured by the adver at this mornings press conference. BG wouldn’t comment.

Also worth noting a little nugget from the LS podcast with the kit guys that they said two players were wanting the same squad number but one of those are no longer at the club anymore.
My Monopoly money is on George george Mceachran no longer being at the club unless someone can correct me.

I heard this rumour a month back, very highly rated winger spent some of last season on loan at Walsall.

Even the Adver ran a story about him.

OK. So if he’s 1 of the 2 Garner wants in quickly, what position for the other one. Another defender or another striker?

What’s happened to Machine Gun Kelly?

Not sure if football works like this but as we already have a Villa player on loan you would imagine it would be beneficial to have them choose us to continue his football development.

You would like to think that, also he probably knows KKH too so if they are mates that will work in our benefit too.

I think Kelly will sign. I also now believe BG and BC will get a striker. They want 2 in before Sat so guess we'll have to wait. Like we always have to.

I have a feeling Kelly won't now be signed after our purchase of Reed and East on Friday, I just feel he will spend his budget further forward in the line up.

Fair enough. I just saw that Kelly was still training with the side at Supermarine on Friday so figured he was just part of the process of rolling out signings.
