I'm just glad we're in a position to be able to fulfil any of our pre-season fixtures.
It could be Peterborough XI or the Dog and Duck for all I care, if we've got the core of a squad to put out then it's a damn sight better than it could have been

Rovers fans seem over the moon with with him.
Reads much like many of the comments when he signed here last year.

Th fact that he is being touted as some sort of veteran signing at 33 says it all really!

Much as we ignore their comments about Garner, I am sure they will do the same with ours about Pitman. I suspect both were at the wrong clubs at the wrong time, and need a fresh start.

Anyway, where’s this glut of Friday players?!

Very true, though i think there a better chance Garner will get better at his role over time, than Pitman will in his. Age favours only one.

Yes bring on the new players. Perhaps honoring the 5pm tradition.

He looked quite slim when he signed for us last season. He's definitely put on a fair old paunch since.

Bobby Charlton was only 29 in 1966 during the world cup.

Pitman could of done a job for us in L2, i have no doubt about that.

Wading through treacle pace will not be missed but as we all know a big lump up front is more than useful in this division.

But he decided to go and after last seasons shit show, you cant blame anyone from wanting a fresh start.

Going AWOL was shitty though.

Im more interested in who is coming in now!
