Yes but...unlike those other randoms Ajose could still feasibly do a job for us...would be interesting to know if he actually is training with us...

Can't believe Ajose is only 29. Proven goalscorer in league one. Though would feel like he needs to play with a partner up top which is rare these days.

Hoping for a glut of activity tomorrow, as the week has been slower than first envisioned.

I'm sure. Was clinging to some hope that we may have got 1 game with some sort of first eleven together before the season starts, alas even that was optimistic...subject to an exciting Friday anyway.

Well consider this. If I’m not mistaken, Saturdays game is the last one before we play Scunny. If you look at the squad it’s blindingly obvious that we will get players in between tomorrow morning and a week Friday. Conundrum is will we have a stampede of players to the point of that’s it we have the numbers and we have the players, onwards and hopefully upwards OR just enough to have a team and minimum of subs, adding as and when a target is either available to pursue or identified? My guess is the latter though I do expect a raft of trialists on Saturday. Which brings me nicely onto tickets for that game. If the T/O is only open from 9-12 tomorrow then I assume they are available on the day in which case it’s going to be bedlam I think, I do expect a decent crowd such is the good will surrounding the club from a fan base perspective.

And no news is good news as it does not appear that any targets that have been identified (which it has been stated the two Bennies have) are out in the wider public, cyber space or social media domain. So fuck you Nixon you Fud.

The problem is however many players we get in before the Scunny game the coach won't have hardly anytime to work with them so players will just have to play on instinct rather than tactics they've worked on. I think tickets can be purchased on the day on Saturday and would imagine a crowd of 4000-5000 but I may be well off.

Legends Lounge - Tickets are available online for the game on Saturday, which is a good job as I would have struggled to get to the T/O by 12pm. Looks like a fair few have been sold so yes looks like a good start to the new era.
