Well you'd imagine it would be a loan and I doubt he's being looked at to be involved by any PL teams for this season.

Would be extremely surprised if we sign a player trying to get in a prem squad when we expect to be towards the bottom of league 2. We had Alzate when we were expecting to challenge and he'd just been signed from orient.
Fulham aren't in the Premiership.

I don't believe for one moment that the club is expecting to be near the bottom come the end of the season, regardless of what they might say to the press.
But we are still in L2, and that would be a very good signing on paper. But, It's more likely to be a lazy link because of the Australian connection I reckon.

I'm aware - I read his comments from the article, which was written back when they were and he was on fringes of that squad.

I have a feeling we will see an incoming or 2 on loan from Swansea, possibly Garrick back for 6 months which I would be happy about, his first 3 games he looked terrible but from then on he played well in at least 50% of the games, often looking better off the bench.
With Garners links possibly a Palace or WBA player as well?

From snippets on Twitter (I follow Elis James) Swansea look in a bit of bother at the moment so I wouldn't hold my hopes on players from there. I saw also from Twitter than Bruno Tavares took his rejection from us quite hard. He stated that he knows he is good enough but it was frustrating not to be given a chance.

Unfortunately for Tavares we need to concentrate on filling our 1st 17/18 positions before we even contemplate punts on players lie him. He may well go on to do well elsewhere, equally, he may not, just not the right time for us.

I know they have "some issues" at Swansea for sure but I don't think Garrick would get a sniff of even the bench there so a loan would probably benefit both parties. A bit about the issues here. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/incoming-swansea-city-boss-john-21135911

I also saw somebody mentioned that he didn't turn up for a couple of days. I don't know how true it is but, if it is, then he only has himself to blame. From what little I saw I thought he *might* have enough about him but wasn't an obvious good signing.

Absolutely mate. Cheap young players could well be worth a punt but we need a fairly solid core of players that can compete at this level from the off, BG obviously didn't see enough in him to think he can do that.

FWIW I would have Garrick back. Raw and pacy but under Garner's coaching you imagine he can work on him better than under Sheridan, whose sage advice was probably 'don't run so fast', or 'control the ball' etc etc.

Garrick has a real knack of knocking it past the fullback and using his pace to beat them. It happened time and time again last season and the opposition usually had no answer to it. If somebody like Garner could help him with his end product, he could be very potent. Especially in a division lower.

From the first couple of friendlies (yes I know its early) but he does seem to like wingers running at defences so he could be ideal.
I think we badly need a striker to come in as we seem very light up top of options, as we were last season too.
Could be a possible opening for ex Town youngster Owen Windsor from WBA maybe who has been touted previously as a loan if BG can't identify a perm striker signing.
Would like Tyler Smith to return as I think he could do what Yates did in this league but I can't see that happening as he will get a club higher up the food chain.
