From the services at Leicester

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon

Surely if the contract is agreed by both sides it's just a case of getting him fit as we all know he's good enough for league 2

Well Garner doesn’t know if he’s good enough does he? hence why he wants to look at him for more than the few days he has so far

Unbelievable, nope pretty certain he would know all about him after all he only left Swindon at the end of June so unless he's recovering from injury he dosen't have anything to prove just fitness to catch up on.

He may or may not know about the player he was. A coach will want to know what player he is now.

We might know that - or assume - but Garner probably doesn’t know.

Fairly sure he’ll re-sign and if we can persuade Odimayo and Payne to stay we’ll have a very decent rump of a side. Strikers look like being a problem, though, and Conroy and Lyden already nursing knocks doesn’t bode well.

I can see Garners thinking in all honesty.
Grant was poor at times last year, injured a lot and/or unfit. He’s also another year older, it makes absolute sense to have a proper look at him before making him a decision.
If it’s the 2019/20 Grant, we’d all jump at the chance, if we are getting the 2020/21 then I would personally not sign him.

If I was a betting man (which I'm not thankfully) I would put money on us signing Grant and McKirdy. We all know what the General can do and from what little I've seen of McKirdy I can see him becoming a fans' favourite along the lines of Isgrove.*

*I am most definitely not ITK Jimmy  Wink

Edit: basing my Grant assessment pretty much on his 19/20 form...20/21 was a bit of a cluster fuck for all concerned...

Don’t think we can judge any player from last season’s rudderless shit show. No tactics, no formation and a pissed up Sheridactyl not giving a toss.

Grant's 34. Of course he'd want to take a closer look at his fitness.
