Don't think his family are in Scotland, from what he said on the various LS Pods he's been on. Somewhere Blackpool way maybe?

My contact at the club tells me incomings are imminent. I can’t say anymore unfortunately, but I’ll refer to this post once they are announced.
Interesting times ahead.
I heard this yesterday but also couldn’t say

So, if the Pork Pie Pele is off, I wonder what sort of replacement Garner will be looking for.
Leading the line, for me, isn’t the job for a inexperienced loanee - especially if Harry Parsons is going to be the second striker.
I presume the big lump isn’t an option. Will Garner actually play 2 up top? Anyone know his favoured formation?

Heard that Bristol City have given Garner a list of players to choose from for loans.

Apparently played 10 different formations at Rovers - 4-3-3 being the favoured. Also didn't know Tyler Smith was on loan for part of the season: https://alloutfootball.co.uk/bristol-rovers-garners-group/

Experienced strikers currently without a club who played league 2 last season include:
Nicky Maynard, Lee Novak, Nicky Ajose, Calvin Andrew, Kurtis Guthrie, Mark Cullen and Alex Fisher.
Wouldn’t say no to almost all of those considering the circumstances.

Not a rumour and absolutely no chance but i'd love to see us get Tyler Smith back. Imagine the goals he would score in this league

I wouldn’t be surprised given that our plight over the last six months has been an ‘open secret’ within footballing circles for unattached players and their agents to be beating a path to BC door in the coming weeks. The revolution that is underway here must be like a cold beer to a dehydrated man in the desert. We are after all a big club in this division without trying to sound like a PL fan. There are going to be scores of players dropping out of the FL as a result of the last eighteen months, some good ones too, not withstanding academy players breaking through the ranks at their respective clubs higher up the pyramid. We will have no problem getting a good standard of player once our embargo has been officially lifted.
Edit.
Think about all the guff and bluster that that was fed to any media journo who would listen about out ‘budget’ being this high in our division or that % of whatever. Then wondering how Slagthorpe Utd from somewhere in the frozen north had beaten us to player XYZ leaving us scratching our heads as to why? Well in part we can hazard a good guess as to why, now things SHOULD be different so here is hoping the club keep to their word about open and honest transparency. Obviously there will info that cannot be disseminated for contractual reasons but our understanding of why we couldn’t get player XYZ will be clearer, or should be.
