It makes one wonder just how bad of a manager Sheridan must have been. Could you imagine if even Curran turns out to be half-decent.

Absolutely, I was well chuffed when he signed given his pedigree. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if has a solid couple seasons now in lower leagues such is football |

Grounds should have been head and shoulders above our other players, and there were moments where you could see he had at least played the game at a higher level. However, he just looked utterly off the pace or distracted all the time - maybe that was indeed the complete lack of focus being shown on the training pitch and he took it as a season off with pay.

Good luck to Grounds. I liked him from the moment he was honest enough to openly admit he struggled to back himself. Hope he does well. No grudges for not coming back. He doesn’t know the club as we do. He knows John Sheridan’s Swindon, Lee Power’s Swindon, and never really played in front of the fans.
