Advertiser claiming that Pompey are very interested in Twine, we'll see.

I'm not saying it's not true, but that adver nowadays is about as reliable as Michael Barrymore at a pool party.

Barrymore did nothing wrong

It was the best analogy I could come up with at the time; I didn't expect it to stand up to scrutiny.

Nicky Maynard recently released by Mansfield...Town will be on the look for a striker.

Released Thumb
Over 30  Thumb

Older than Pitman unbelievably at 34, but looks about 10yrs younger and is probably fitter too no doubt. Maynard and Tyler Smith could work well together in L2 but at present it appears Town will more likely sign a bag of Smiths crisps and a pack of Maynards Wine Gums.

Although it would be "hilarious" to see Lausanne Lee picking up Maynard from Gloucester Services with all his shirt buttons undone, tits out, smouldering pout....a la Caroline Radford  'Get inn the faat-inn car Niit-ee'

Not a rumour, more a feeling.

We’ll finally sign Kyle Bennett on a perm now he’s OOC at BRovers.

He’d have to take one hell of a pay cut.

If he's OOC, then his current pay is zero...

More likely Doncaster tap him up isn't it?

True, but going from what was rumoured to be a £5/6k a week deal to what would probably be a minimum of half that with us is one hell of a drop.

He hasn't set the world alight the past few seasons so he's due a massive pay cut wherever he goes.
