I don't want Hunt, Grant to go or do any favours for Salford. Sad
Grant was ok even with his injuries. Just over worked with no fucker holding the ball up front.

Sometimes a signing seems good to the point you start questioning why or how it's happened which is where I'm at with Freeman. Dont quite understand how hes ended up at the bottom of League 1 at 28. Always looked a good player.  Might as well just enjoy it!

The proof of this window’s pudding will be the muchly needed striker.

Indeed - credit where it’s due for the early business and in Freeman what seems a real coup.

On another note it is interesting across STFC social media to read Jewell get the plaudits for this transfer business but apparently the summers work was all Wellens...a few seem not to want to credit Shez with any part in these deals  Hmmm

Or the reverse, and RW was quite rightly thought as the messiah in the summer, hoovering up the plaudits? Either way, Jewell has a good record overall and this has been, on paper, a good start.

I'm sure someone somewhere is putting together a chapter and verse on the man's back catalogue and listing half a dozen reasons why we should be wary.

I’ve had confirmed from sources that Archie Matthews is recalled from Melksham and will be on the bench Saturday. Seems others that have mooted this suggestion is confirmed

Absolute scoop, considering even John Sheridan confirmed it earlier today in his press conference. Wink

2 new strikers wanted before the Donny game according to Sheridan. What does that mean for Smith T?

Apparently, Sheridan is using former Darlo leg breaker Gary Gill(more) to get a fresh perspective on potential new strikers.
