I prefer to just call him Oddie.

Or maybe Mayo.

My 3 year old grandson has got a Picture Dictionary just like this.  A is for 🍎; B is for 🐝 etc etc.  O is for Odimayo, apparently.

Don’t get me started on that.  I have family in Reading, and it’s a stick I use to bludgeon (there’s a good word!) them with on special occasions! Smiley

I remember it being featured on SoccerAM when Mr Oddie (get well soon sir) many years back, it did make me chuckle at the time.

Late Tuesday evening.  EFL Hub claiming an Exclusive - Tranmere about to sign Woolery.  If that’s correct then it suggests KW has been stringing Wellens along whilst his Agent has been sorting the move out.  Probably goes some way to explaining why Richie was pissed off this evening.

I really fail to understand the time given to him.

Has Isgrove popped up anywhere?

I’m starting to think Woolery actually wants to stay at Swindon, but we have just offered so little it’s not been acceptable. Wellens himself has said we offered him less than he was on, and the way he spoke last night made it sound like it’s the club not offering him much.
So Woolery probably hasn’t signed for anyone yet because he wants to be here but just wants the money he feels he deserves after contributing to a championship winning team.

That's how I read it. Wellens has said several times that the two sides weren't far apart.

Very much the way Wellens has made it sound, esp when he was talking about Woolery sat at home doing nothing

Makes sense now Wellens comment about Isgrove, when he said that he had passed us by.

the way I read it, I.e. speculation, is that we'd need to increase our offer to get Woolery.

Wellens had a think in relation to budget, and decided yes.

now nothing is happening from above.

which is basically what you all said already

I have heard that Woolery wants to stay from a source close to the player.

But we have offered him a fair bit less and hes holding out for a bit of a rise to get him nearer what he was actually on last season, as it is hes been offered quite reduced terms.

I still think he will stay, he likes Wellens and Wellens likes him. It needs sorting for everyones sake.
