Isgrove has just put an insta story up with a “wave” at the county ground......a wave “hello” or “goodbye”?!

If he is leaving i’d prefer a middle finger emoji rather than a wave

Tbh, if we hadn’t signed Smith (Jonny) I would have been disappointed with him leaving.
As it is, he can fuck right off!

Him doing this is weirdly kind of why i went off him over the last few months. His missus having a dig at formations them always having little digs or rolling their eyes after Wellens has said something got boring. He will stay now i said that

I don’t see any reason why he’d be at the county ground if he’s leaving. He’d have got his boots the other week, very bizarre.

It is very childish and immature him doing that, I don't care if he stays or goes TBH. Payne looks a better player already. If he does stay he won't be a regular starter.

Not bothered either way really. If he stays I'll support him if he goes all the best (unless it's up the A420).
Not sure he has it in him to really fight for a place in the team but that may be very presumptuous of me.

Agree with the latter. Looked a player before his injury early doors but since he's been back hasn't really seemed too arsed.

Was really excting at one point, and even had an excellent song. From what little I've seen of our replacements, though, he'd struggle to make the first team anyway.
I'd hazard a guess that part of him not being offered the contract he wants would be down to Wellens giving him a contract that reflected the status of a fringe player.

As said above, it all seems very immature and is a shame. I always thought the age old advice was to always leave an employer on good terms.

Yeah! You can imagine something with a lower basic wage but with significant appearance incentives. That probably wouldn’t have gone down too well. I can sort of see Woolery being offered something similar - ie you can get good money but you’ve really got to earn it!

Indeed, unless he felt very hard done by from the club and Wellens and had a falling out over it. Paths cross a lot in football, don't burn bridges and be gracious and genial when departing to pastures new, also don't ignore that fans see these actions too its no longer kept in the dressing room as it used to be before social media. Its also a kick in the teeth to fans that have hailed you as a hero if you depart on a sour note.
