It certainly does look a lot like Stephen Ireland, very difficult for any player who hasn't played a game in 2 years to make a comeback successfully though. Very talented player when in his prime. “Physically, I feel 27 or 28. I just want to get motoring again because there is so much more to come out of me.”
That’s what you would say in his situation so i wouldn’t read too much into that I’m not sure thats even him in the photo TBH |

I think the face is the wrong shape but that’s if you really analyse the photo.
I reckon he might be training with Manchester United under 23s for fitness and we just used him to make up the numbers or something.

I haven't had the time or opportunity to study the images but, as has been said before, it would be a remarkable achievement to make it back after a prolonged period away. If he can add something to the squad and is interested in the gig why not sign him up.
