I can't seee us signing Benda and Baxter. Cost aside, I doubt either of their clubs will be happy about them sitting on somebody else's bench.

Wellens said yesterday that he only wanted to use a loan on a starting keeper, not a bench warmer so yeah...one or t'other.

Out of the the 2 I’d rather Benda, a known quantity and seemed to have a much greater presence than Baxter, if Chelsea are asking for significant money (wages or loan fee) for Baxter then we should just send him back and they can find some other mugs to take him.

Benda would only be on the bench at WBA so a season of starting in L1 would be far more beneficial to all parties you would have thought...

I reckon he’d fancy it as well, Grant seemed a bit of a mentor for him last season and think that helped him develop.

Ring 'em
many centuries.

OK, I give up. WTF are you talking about... I can see an obvious Steven Benda reference but Andre Agassi and some random words? You're clearly far too clever for me...

Andre Agassi - Boy Friend of (Steffi) Graf (BFG) perhaps?

I agree, Baxter looked ok yesterday and my mate who works at Yeovil FC said he was brilliant for them on loan 2 years ago, But I would much rather have Benda if there was a choice, he also knows the defence as well as thats not changed in the close season really so less of a learning curve for him with our team.

I’d also rather not pay Chelsea or any of the top 6 a penny to be honest as a few quid is nothing to them but makes a big difference to us.

Luckily Matt Smiths loan fees and wages are paid to one of the teams not in the top 6
