So, that’s 73% of last seasons goals gone.

Whilst Wellens recruitment has been good. That’s a hell of a chunk to replace.

This time last year, we didn’t have Doyle or Yates. So have to trust him.

Blackpool fan here, just reading the comments on here and you lot are so bitter. Already slagging our manager. Who was may I add one of the highest rated coach’s in the country. We’re buying young players with plenty of potential on 3 year contracts, were investing in the youth team and buying a new training ground. We’re gonna be top 6 no doubt about that
You're really interesting and sound very intelligent.

Blackpool and Bolton both going down the unproven route with managers.

I’m looking forward to seeing how they work out.

Blackpool, it needs to have something going for it.

If we're allowed in grounds next year, I, along with many others, will get Yates a warm round of applause.

This.

Good luck to him, as I have said often, hes far from the finished article but has potential. Gives everything he has got in every game.

Often that is not good enough but he tries, like a better quality Paul Mullin.

If he can add consistant finishing to his repertoire he could be a decent player in L1 if played in the correct position.
That's a bit harsh, he had a decent return considering he was being played out wide for most of the season. Good player, seems a nice fella too, always worked hard for us and played with a smile on his face. Best of luck to him. Except for the obvious two fixtures next season, natch.

Tbf, Blackpool fans have had years of absolute shite thrown at them and, understandably, are getting over excited by becoming a ‘normal’ club again.

I presume Critchley, who is Head Coach as opposed to manager, hasn’t been wholly responsible for their recruitment.

Time will tell, but it is all very Luke Williams-ish

I have absolutely no ill feeling for Yates or Blackpool. Jerry is a decent player and seems a nice bloke, but I'm sure we can replace him with something better. He was only on loan so it's not like he was Swindon through and through or anything. Rotherham can't wait to get rid of him and they aren't exactly Barcelona.

I always thought Anderson was a bit of an enigma who promised so much but rarely delivered. Not bothered about him going.

if we have a midfield of Grant and Lyden with Doughty pulling the strings we'll be just fine.
