Perfection is not attainable

Town have accepted a bid for Kayne Woolery from Blackpool and have been given permission to speak to him.
Not gone down well with Blackpool fans who think hes shit even well before hes kicked a ball for them.

Quote
Hes no better than what we already have!

21 goals in 125 appearances

If true, on a positive note, he's at the right age being 25
However if he is a striker his goal average is poor, averaging 1 goal every 7 games a decent average if brought in as a winger

This can't be true he's makes Nuttall look like Messi.

7 assists this season and has predominantly been playing out wide. Been playing often in a very good Swindon side, so if true, this is a pretty decent signing.

Here we go, slated before he puts on a BFC shirt.
Is Gnanduillet on his way
However!
“A snippet from local rag following defeat at Colchester
Kaiyne Woolery was the main culprit in Town’s attack. His conversion rate of chances to goals, and completing successful crosses, is just not good enough. Once again, he had golden opportunities that were wasted.”

I'm very happy with this. Much needed pace.
But it's only a good signing if we play to his strengths.

Pacey and powerful - good signing for me .

Jesus just looked at his wiki page he might well only be 25 but we’ll be his 10th club already, more clubs than Tiger Woods.
Another one who no doubt will be joining the queue of released players next season.
Seriously why do we bother scraping around bargain basement?

he is NOT the sort of player we need. I thing Grayson is losing his marbles!

Doesn't exactly fill me with hope that he is going to be the answer to our problems. I don't mean that to be negative but this window was about bringing players in who could influence the first 11, I'm not sure this player would.

I see Swindon just got Doyle back from Brudfud so looking to offload deadwood ?

Can see now. 2 goals in 33 games in the lower leagues. Not sure this one will go down well unless there is something, apart from his stats, to suggest otherwise.

He began his career at Maidstone United before being signed by Tamworth. He was loaned out to Maidstone United and Stafford Rangers before being signed by Bolton Wanderers for £10,000 in August 2014. He was loaned out to Notts County F.C. in January 2015. He then joined Wigan Athletic at the start of the 2016/17 season however he only played once and got loaned out Forest Green Rovers F.C. and he helped them get promoted scoring twice in the final. At the end of the season he joined Swindon Town F.C. on a permanent deal.

What a random signing.

If you do go Woolery then all the best.

Same here, wish him all the best. He's not been terrible for us and I'm sure he's a 'bloody nice bloke', but in two and a half seasons with us he's only shown what he can do in rare flashes. At some point if you are Wellens you have to ask yourself if it is ever going to happen consistently. He's obviously decided that it's not (and I agree)... I imagine he had reached that point in the road with Keshi as well back in the summer but putting him on the transfer list appears to have been a master stroke, injuries notwithstanding...

I think this is a sensible move.

Blackpool journo - Seen the Kaiyne Woolery rumours but not sure there's anything in that.

I'm guessing The Admiral was signed to play in Woolery's position (another pacey forward with perhaps more of an eye for goal) and he was told to expect some bench time or to look elsewhere.

I'd be sad to see him go. He's a very good impact player off the bench, but too inconsistent to play a full 90 minutes.

The admiral is an out and out striker. Woolery is not.

He would be expected to fight for his place like any other player, no players is an automatic choice, its good to have competition for places

He is, but also said he can play left or right which is going to be his default position barring an injury/suspension for Doyle.

Of course. However there was some surprise that Leicester allowed him drop to L2 level, and you'd imagine Leicester expect him to play.
