Tis all a bit of a farce TBH, I hope nothing bad comes out of it for the club.
He was a bit shit TBF and I am glad we didn't sign him as I think he would have cost us goals much like RCC and Moore did a couple of years ago. They are on a par for shitness.

lyden, 1 year deal
Totally written off on the Swindon FB page already because hes always injured and was not good enough for Villa so theres no way he will be good enough for Town Again if we can keep him fit enough to play he sounds very good. Bags of potential and young and good enough for the Aussie U20's a couple of years ago. Oldham fans seem gutted to have missed out on him. Now for those strikers/attacking midfielder/wingers to get signed on, striker a priority please. Isgrove and Bennett, maybe Anderson? and 2 strikers with one being a young loanee.

I’d imagine the wage contribution would be peanuts.

I’ve never looked at that FB page - they sound special. When the Oldham fans realised Lyden was a free agent they reckoned no way he’d go back as he’s way too good for L2. He played 8 for them - won 6, drew 2. Next 4 without him, lost 3, drew 1. And if Lang does rock up at the CG, why are Wigan loaning him out in L2 again? Proved himself here, deserves a crack at L1 I reckon. Final additions must be Lang, Isgrove, Bennett and a PL loanee striker. If we can’t at least make the top 7 with that squad, my cock’s a kipper!

If this is true that would be good, Charlie Brown tore us a new one and was head and shoulders above any Town player on show in that game. I doubt Chelsea would allow such a talent to come down to our league. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8697277/chelsea-charlie-brown-sancho-man-utd-arsenal/The other striker that played against us was Ike Ugbo much more of a big man who has had loans at Barnsley, MKD and Scunthorpe, playing 46 times and scoring just 4 goals. He did score against though!

That Chelsea team was class and Brown was one of the stand outs.

Brown was probably the best striker we came up against last season, mobile quick, great feet and knows where the goal is. Clubs a lot higher than us will be after him on loan, he scored 12 goals in 9 games in the Eufa U23 league last season and 24 goals in 42 U18 games the years before.

Those of you who boycott the boycott trophy missed an absolute corker V Chelski U23 last season. Ok so we got spanked out of sight but for me and my lad it was a delight to see the future PL stars for a few quid. Oh and how the game can be played and something we should aspire to sometime in the future, maybe.

Tbh, my opinion has been clouded by those 3 loanees we had under Luke Warm.
Whatever happened to Colkett(?). Didn’t Feruz get a gig as one of Snow White’s companions?
