Possibly but as a counter:

- Think he named Hylton before anyone else then Wellens did his "i like him" interview shortly after.

- Named Ballard first

- Called our interest in Mayor which was later confirmed.

If Lang talks are advanced as he says you'd expect an announcement is imminent so I guess we'll wait and see.

Adds a few more talking points to a long and boring pre season anyway.

Some chap called Nathan Thomas mentioned Ballard to Swindon ages before.

The rumour was out there.

L2 Rumours on Twitter who has now re-named himself as Swindon Town rumours.

How dare he try and usurp our very own TEF.

Wellens said D’Ath’s agent asked for too much money so he didn’t get a contract offer.

Ooooo K, we offer him what is probably a decent contract to stay in L2, he (or his agent) refuses and ends up going to a team with no owner with financial problems who won't offer him anywhere near the wages we would have in a division lower.

Makes perfect sense.

I want to believe your statement. So, can you quantify how many peanuts we offered and compare those peanuts to the other peanuts he was offered?

Bennett was MoM for the Gas today in their win down at Plymuff. 3rd game pre season he has been named as their best player.

Nice to see the Shitheads stuffed 5-0 at home to Palace playing almost a full 1st team.

So how have we gone from the 2 100% and 95% certainties to Wellens now having to get Anderson (as well as the other 2) off the books to free up wages for a striker?

Methinks he should have said nothing.
