I would say that Tom Anderson will not be joining us then with Wellens stating "defensively we are sorted now after the signing of Ballard".
Interested in Darren Lyon though, hes a defensive midfielder on a free from Posh who started his career at Rangers and had a couple of season in the Jocks Premier division with Hamilton.
Didn't hit it off at Posh last season but has a good pedigree as a tough tackling midfielder, if Toums goes it would be better to get in a perm signing than a loan player IMO.
From what I saw last night, don't think it's Doncaster's Tom Anderson - we had Romanski and Ballard at CB with Iandolo and Downing as full backs. Think he may have been a midfield player of the same name. |

Watching Wellens interview last night he doesn't seem to want any youth strikers in the Ben House mould. Said thete aren't any good strikers at U23 level!
Confident we'll get a couple of established forwards in at some stage. Might just have to hold on a bit longer. Still think we'll end up with Theo and one other.

Two League 1 clubs and Scunthorpe interested in him according to the local Shrews rag. Wages said to be a stumbling point in any transfer as he is their highest paid player. |

It was a Southern based "not" attacking player he hinted at, and it turned out to be Conroy re-signing. |
