Been told he’s not in the manager’s plans, too.
If Rovers can offer him a decent termination of contract sum, he’d probably accept a 50% pay cut with us.
I think it was either him or Devitt.
Coughlan did say at the end of the season that he would welcome Bennett back. Not sure if anything has changed since then. Bennett himself said in a radio interview he was not enjoying playing for Rovers and was finally enjoying his football again at Swindon. The wage thing, I think will come down to his desire to play for us/Wellens and if Rovers will pay half his wages or as you say terminate his contract. He will still be a large wage but with what we have seen he is plenty good enough for L2 and would be a good piece in that atacking jigsaw. |

He is not probably in the plans after having a good stint with us. Would like him and Bennett back to be honest with one new striker and Hunt. I would be happy with that as a base and then just see if we pick up a CM |
