As much as I despise that publication, their rumours are usually spot on.

From a Tranny fan after a game he played for them last year

‘If Shamal George plays in the league for us, expect mass panic at the back. Zero command of area, flapped at everything and zero awareness of players tracking in out of his immediate line of sight. Worst keeper at TRFC for a hell of a long time.
2 games, 7 conceded’

Anyone heard about this fella

On the football front, Will Keane is in ongoing negotiations but not the only signing expected at Swindon, as they look to complete the signing of Charni Ekangamene.

It's been 18 years since Adrian Bakalli's debut. I think Belgium deserves a second chance therefore I shall embrace Charni's arrival if it happens.

I would very much doubt Ekangamene signing as he is just a left back, not an interchangeable right back/left back so would be up against Zeki for a starting slot and at 25 will want regular first team football, hes not a youngster at 25 either.

Uses his right foot just for standing on but can fill in at left wing if needed, has pace but not a great crosser apparently.

Shamal George signing probably has legs, Wellens wants someone cheap to challenge LMc for a starting slot, you need 3 keepers to last the season as well, George may not be greatbut he will be a suitable understudy for LMc, hes a big lad too almost 6 foot 3.

Most keepers improve with age so I wouldnt read too much into what Carlisle fans say about him, especially as they have possibly THE slowest back 4 last year that I have ever seen in the footbal league so probably didn't give him much protection.

Back in the late 80's Lou Macari had a Belgium on trial.... Paul op du Beek, for whatever reason he didn't sign.

I had a look on FM19 and according to that he is be very versatile, LB, CDM, CM and can fill in in various other positions at a push.

Could be wrong of course but if it is right could be good in a squad sense, great kind of player to have on the bench, unless he's just rubbish, which he could well be?
