Any indication as to what kind of transfer?  Scored a good number of goals in non-league but only 1 in 12 in the league.

Looks like it should be a 'development' signing on a permanent basis, doesn't seem like he'd be ready for regular first team football which a loan would likely be for.

Matt Stevens from Peterborough, apparently.

I was a wet sponge and tweeted the Peterborough owner and he didn’t think there’s any truth in it. Granted the rumour just says we’re interested so will have to watch this space  Pint

Matt Stevens from Peterborough, apparently.

From January.

https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/11/28/por-championship-clubs-to-check-on-posh-loan-star-stevens/

Hes a big lump of a player, never done it at Football League level though. 1 league goal in 12 games.

Posh currently have 6 strikers on their books so will want to offload the deadwood like Stevens, he is on the transfer list since May.

Quite a physically strong striker but not a big lump, only 5 foot 11 and not heavy built, all round striker similar in style to Doyle but probably a lot lot cheaper to buy and wage wise.

A bit of an unknown quanitity really with little 1st team experience in the top 6 leagues.

Might be a gamble worth trying, might not be...much like any new signing really.

I mooted this one weeks ago from a rumour I heard from what I thought was a reliable source.

Cracking if it comes off. He’s a very good boxer, too.

34 in 80 games - mostly non league, but . . .

That right hook could come in handy against a couple rough defenders.  Clap

Sauce? Red or brown, just in case some of you thought you’d get a cheap poke at me.

More ex-Carlisle players? This is getting nearly as repetitive as signing ex-scummers
