That's the defence looking good, except maybe for some cover at full back.

Think we'll see a loanee FB come in now, keep the remainder of the budget for attacking players.

Progressing very nicely indeed.

Would still like to see a genuine competitor for LMc, FB cover, 2 out-and-out strikers, a CM and a flexible wide forward/10. Three loan spots left, and three permanent signings.

Honestly I think we are going to have the LMc/Henry as the main choices, I don't think we will spend any more there. Main hope right now is the cover, probably a loan, and the strikers for me. Still want to see Woolery down the middle with a lump to play off.

Beyond doubt the best signing so far.
Conroy is class. Getting back to his best from that career threatening injury. Thirsty for promotion and a few clubs, bigger than us wanting him.
Loves it here.

Let’s smash this season.
Money available to go for the number 9 we need and the creative play maker.

Starting to take shape.
Will be off air next week as in China.

Feeling like the most optimistic close season for a while, fair play to Wellens

Had hoped the exciting news for today would have been better than re-signing a defender who can’t really defend very well

To be fair, we've had a lot of defenders who can't defend very well over the years, at least Conroy can do a lot of the more distribution-focused stuff that few lower league defenders do. He's like our very own David Luiz, and how he's gone and got shit hair to complete the transformation.

That’s a fair point.

Just to provide some stats to my claim - we conceded 1.4 goals per game with Conroy, and 1.0 without. We played 19 games without him, so not exactly a small sample size either

These new signings are very well and good but until we sign an experienced RB we can’t promoted, proven FACT

I think with the new lad Baudry, Conroy, Broadbent and young Romanski as the 4th and then Fryers able to cover (according to Wellens) that will be it for CB.
