Getting bored of all these signings every day. What are we playing at. Throwing me out of sync.

Can't wait to moan about not signing anyone on deadline today.

This guy seems to know a lot about us!! @RowendaleDS. Is there any track record? Will Keane, Will Mannion!

Seems to have connections to Hull - suggesting a triple signing of Mannion, Keane and Ekangamene (Ex Man Utd, with a short spell at Carlisle - RW with a type or nonsense lazy journalism).

A bit from the Carlisle forum on Jerry Yates.

Quote
I like to think that I'm generally quite a positive poster on here but this is crackers that he's gone to Swindon.
If half of the new lads coming in perform we'll be doing well.
All can't be expected to succeed.
We know what Yates, Devitt & Nadesan can do. Why gamble when we know they perform?
The money wasted from bringing in players who don't work out for us would surely cover the additional outlay required to keep players we know who do perform.
Doesn't make any sense at all and looks like this'll be the pattern for the near future.
It's just madness this. So shortsighted.

I'm sure Jerry Yates has signed for Swindon because they have offered more money. When he first arrived at BP he was a player with lots of good attributes, pace, strength, aggression but not too much end product. It was only when Sheridan swapped him and Nadesan over that he looked a quality find.

I'm encouraged by the fact Richie Wellens seems to think we played him as a left winger last season. With a manager showing this level of tactical awareness, I don't think we have too much to worry about. There's also the fact he hasn't produced consistently at any level yet.

I'd say it's more likely that Wellens is using his Manchester United links more than anything. Paul McGuinness was mentioned by Wellens when Reid signed.

Zeki Fryers (Manchester United 2009-2012)

Tyler Reid (Manchester United 2012-2016)

Will Keane (Manchester United 2004-2016)

Charni Ekangamene (Manchester United 2009-2014)

Would Charni Ekangamene be our first signing from  FK Inter Bratislava? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charni_Ekangamene

Yes but Peter Brezovan was on loan at Inter Bratislava shortly before joining Swindon.

The Jamie Patterson that's played 40+ games in the championship for the last 2 seasons? Don't think that's going to happen.

I'm pretty sure Jamie Patterson won't be plying his Trade in League 2 next season! (unless Salford give him 10k a week or whatever)

And this I fear is why we might not be able to shift McGlashan, he is no spring chicken and its provably worth his while just sticking around and picking up his wages?
