Transfer listed at Posh, never really got a chance for them but their attacking strength is very good so hems now surplus to requirements. I’d imagine they will be looking for about 100k ish for him. (Total guess)
There was a right clamour for him a couple of years ago - Swansea offering £250,000. Scored 22 in 15 for Posh reserves last season. Not sure, though, if he is actually OOC and not transfer listed. Wiki says he signed a 3 year deal with Posh in July 2016. How a small club in L1 pays, apparently £1.5m for Mo Eisa, shows how difficult/mad competing has become. |

Goalkeeper Aaron Chapman, midfielders Callum Cooke, Mark O’Hara, winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts and striker Matt Stevens have been placed on the transfer list while Darren Lyon, Ryan Tafazolli, Morgan Penfold and Lewis Freestone have left the football club following the expiry of their contracts.
That was from the Posh website Audrey. Although on twitter someone says they have released him so maybe he’s available?

Shame I like Knoyle but maybe the new RB will do even better. All the best wherever you know Knoyle. As long as its not a rival  SWINDON Town are set to reveal the signing of a new right-back imminently, we can reveal.
It is understood by us that Town manager Richie Wellens has agreed terms with a new right-back.
Consequently, Kyle Knoyle’s County Ground future appears to be no more.
Out of contract Knoyle, who has attracted interest from Cambridge United, appears to be set for a move away from SN1 having made 69 appearances during his two-year stay in Wiltshire.
More news as we get it. |

At least having a replacement in early, is an improvement on how things are usually done... assuming it's a similarly steady player.. Kyle, never did enough in the way of assists fro me. |

Having watched 48 games last season I cannot hand on heart say I would be or am gutted about any of the squad leaving, that includes Doughty. We have some excellent players, and I would include Knoyle, Doughty, Rose, Woolery, Anderson, Toums, Conroy and Broadbent in that.... but if any one or more of those choose their future is not with Swindon then I won't be shedding any tears. All are replaceable and I think our scouting network now is better than we have had for a long time with Jewell and Chorley who seem to be able to spot the right player for the team, as they did with Robinson, Bennett, Rose, Broadbent etc who came in and did a decent job. McGilp looked handy when he came in, Curran is said to have loads of potential, I (and I may be alone) trust Power/Wellens to attract players of a decent standard that will at least match if not exceed that of those players if any of them do leave, which could be inevitable with Knoyle and Conroy on the verge of leaving. Disappointed Knoyle has decided to move on (as he hasn't made his mind up I agree with Wellens in removing the offer) and the same applies to Conroy, but it is just a disappointment nothing more for me. |

Shame Knoyle has gone but it shouldn't be too difficult to replace him. He was a good League 2 full back who could probably hold his own in League 1. There are loads more the same. My guess for the incoming signing based on nothing other than he's a right back without a club - Luke O'Neill. Left Gillingham, offers an attacking threat and takes a good free kick. Caddis is also without a club after leaving Bradford.  |

I'm a Wellens fan but he does concern me a little with the way he handles the players. Of course if he can get a full squad that completely buy into it, then it could/should be great.
I think he's shown a little bit of naivety with how he's handled Knoyle and Conroy's contracts too, not that I'm massively concerned with either leaving.

I think you are misinterpreting what is being said, in saying 'Kyle, never did enough in the way of assists fro me' Reg is disappointed that Knoyle didn't put enough crosses into the stand for Reg to head in or something like that! Alternatively he could just be ignoring the fact that we didn't have a 20 goal a season striker that we did or did not need (not sure where we are with that one) or just lining up a post for 'told you so' purposes in 12 months time! Its all interpretation old chap! |
