Not that I saw it. But am I the only one who finds that sort of stuff tedious, and immature?

Wimbledon and Lincoln both had bids accepted.

Akinde 7 goals in 30 odd games last season.... got relegated to Conference.

This week should tell us what Power is trying to do this season   Hmmm

That's because it was believeable - so people are not stupid if they believed it (I never even saw it)...what's the point exactly?

That's known in formal debating parlance as the Texas Sharpshooter fallacy. Focusing in on one set of data to reach a conclusion while ignoring the rest. I could choose to focus in on the previous season instead where he scored 26 in 46. I won't, though, because as mentioned that would be fallacious.

How unlike you, Reg.

The other way of looking at it, though, is discounting his stint at Barnet and various other non league clubs, he had only scored 11 in 104 games for various league clubs

Do what you like. The only conclusion I reached based on the datum of Akinde last season, was that Barnet got relegated to the Conference, which the last time I looked held true.

However I still stand by the idea that what happens this week, will tell us a lot about Power's intentions for this coming season.

I have to be honest, I have seen him 3 times and I think I agree with Sutton, he would be better suited to rides on Blackpool beach, when he was on loan at Rovers from Shitty and played against us he was possibly the worst player I have seen play at the CG, a period when he scored 0 in 14 games for them and the phrase barn door was bandied about a lot.

But he seems to have scored goals since then albeit at a lower level.
