So are we debating fake news now? Or did it turn out to be genuine news? Or was it fake news which happened to coincide with genuine news??

We don't know yet, but rumours elsewhere suggest it is not true.

There’s plenty of musings/grumbling in the Exeter forum about Stockley and us.

Big scoring target man who is still only 24, would fit the bill but I can't see past him joining MKD.

From the Exeter forum....

A friend of mine who is a swindon fan, reckoned last night that rumours are gathering pace of Jayden going to them! They do have money to spend as the got a sell on percentage from Aden flint moving from BCFC to boro’

Who cares if 'they have money'?

He's contracted to us and we don't need any money. It would be a completely ridiculous decision for the club to sell our best player to a promotion rival in our league when we don't need any money.

A friend of mine, who is an idiot, told me the world was flat and he saw a very nice Dodo the other day.
Just passing on what my friend told me.

Stockley's a good player at this level, but he's not "no fee will tempt us" good... We'll never have a player in that category. If we get offered big money for Jayden, he'll be gone and rightly so. Also, the "big money" wouldn't be £2m big.

800k - 1m would be hard to resist.
If be gutted with 800k but 1m, I would probably be ok with.

£800k to £1m they are living in cloud cuckoo land if they think a player with 1 good season of scoring would command that much of a fee.

City just got £10m for Bobby Reid after one good season.

Always amusing to see things like that, as I haven't seen one mention of him linked to us before that

But I doubt they will be a promotion rival. One poor season now for Stockley and his worth will fall.

1 good season in the Championship, not L2.
