Two attacking players by the looks of it. That bit of flair we've been hoping for?

Elsnik is a midfielder and Gordon is a striker/winger

I am sorry but how the hell can shipping loads of goals a game help a young players confidence? thats madness.

Depends on the character of the individual to an extent, but if a young keeper is going to fold after letting a few goals in then it doesn't bode well for a successful career in the game.
Regularly shipping two or three goals a game doesn't necessarily mean that the overall performance of a keeper has been poor and that confidence has gone.

Many years ago a young Tim Flowers earned rave reviews in a struggling Wolves side and he didn't do too bad in the end. Just one example, there are probably many more and LV doesn't seem the worse for wear after his early experience.

Interesting post from the Derby forum.

Quote
Disappointing

haha... the two best youth prospects at the moment. What's going on at the club. People wanted them to push for a first team place. Now they will make the u23 weaker and relegation fodder candidates. Whats going on at the club?

Would've liked Elsnik to stay and be in the first team squad

Don't get this. Wanted Elsnik to have a chance with the first team. Rather him play than Butterfield and Bryson.

Neither are ready to play for the first team but do have potential. They need some experience of something beyond u23. Elsnik had promise but Guy is in front of him and Thorne is almost back.

Fantastic move from DCFC and a great opportunity at a good club for both players to show what they can do.

People forget that these boys haven't played in front of a proper crowd yet on a regular basis or trained regularly around a first team, this is the best possible move for both players. Let's hope they shine, get regular 7/8 out of 10 each game and come back to us ready for first team football.

Can't say I have heard of those players....yet.

Couple of old model signings. Elsnikers is Slovenian, he'll be a new addition to the foreign legion list. Most of the others have been shit.

Chatted to some Slovenian lads t'other night, a good bunch, their women *drool*

Elsnik is very highly rated by Derby fans - some suggesting he's not far off their first team.

A quick glance at Twitter suggests we've done very well with this pair. Let's hope it works out that way.

I've always found it wondrous how FH is first with all this info - every time.

However on this occasion the TEF seems to be getting its news from the Adver, not the more usual other way round.  Not good.

Six!!!

What I don't get is why KL is one hour ahead of Bangkok. I'll be there in a fortnight, getting the scoop on FH no doubt!
