I understood when he played for us last time Roberts didn't get on with di Fabio that well and didn't like playing under him. As a player with us last time I didn't rate him.but if you didn't like playing for the manager then that's probably why he didn't perform that great for us. I'm all prepared to give players another chance as he did well at Pompey but it may not be him .

While Mayor and Gary Roberts are essentially left sided players and Flitcroft has said he is looking at a right winger, here's a thought
I spoke to a Bury supporter and he said that Mayor has been used as a left winger he is predominantly a right footed winger that can play on both wings. This does suit Flitcrofts use of reversed wingers at times much as Ritchie used to play for us under PdC, he also said Mayor was injured at the moment and not back in full training yet.

Bury have signed a lot of players and could well need to let go of a few to balance the books.

As for Roberts, he wasn't bad first time but hes 4 years older now than when he left us. Although I like experience I don't want us having to rely on a team of ageing players that can't last 90 mins.

Well its deadline day, hopefully there will be a few incomings.

Looks likely that Coventry goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook could be coming in on loan, wasn't impressed by him in the 2 games I have seen him play against us, hopefully this is backup and not to replace an outgoing Vigs.

There's interest in Henry going out on loan apparently. The Coventry lad could be a temporary back-up keeper, if he comes.

Henry would benefit from 5 months on loan playing first team football at National League level.

But if he does go he needs to go to a team not shipping goals from having a leaky defence in front of him.

I'd say it depends on his character. I can see positives in playing behind a leaky defence for a young keeper.

Vigouroux being an example maybe. Played 14 times on loan for a relegation bound Hyde in 2013-14.
Not sure how many he conceded but must have been good experience.

Or have we accepted an offer from a championship or prem club for Henry?  Be a bad move for him as he will sit and stagnate in development squads.

I am sorry but how the hell can shipping loads of goals a game help a young players confidence? thats madness.

Because the idea would be that he faces lots of shots (due to a leaky defence), gets better at saving a good proportion of them during the course of the loan spell and learns to differentiate between the times when he's pulled out some cracking saves despite his defence vs the times he couldn't do anything about it (thereby boosting his resilience).
