Everything I've read regarding McDermott...great talent, terrible application.
Dropped down to non league before Rochdale gave him another chance, appears he's messed it up for himself again. Probably look class in pre season and then go AWOL mid season if he's that sort of character.
Doesn't seem the type that Flitcroft has so far brought to the club but he's worked with him before so will have to trust his judgement.

Seeing as Bury fans were saying Flitcroft, as a manager, was a bit of a cunt, ain't it strange so many players who have worked under him before have joined STFC?
We still need another forward or 2, which I presume one will be a loanee and hopefully the other Ajose. But saying that and looking at the make up of the squad I'd be surprised if we don't sign a big target man as they'll be plenty of crosses coming in.
Still think the lad Bennett from Barrow is a possibility.

This had crossed my mind as well. I'm guessing there may have been some disgruntled players working under him because they were expected to pull their weight. |

Maybe Hussey was one of Blades' worst signings ever and there can be any number of reasons as to why it didn't work out. It doesn't make him a bad player though and I think I will trust Flitcroft's opinion on this one.
