We looked at him last season before he went to Donny on loan, apparently a very quick striker plays off a target man, highly rated by Palace.

Why don't they play him then?
Probably for the same reasons that lots of highly rated 19 to 21 year olds don't play in the premier league for their teams. Send them out to see how they progress with first team football. Mason and Pritchard at Spurs, Kent and Ibe at Liverpool, Wilson and Blackett at Man Utd etc.

Palace like our 'footballing philosophy'.
Would never think of them as the 'fannying' type.

I'm not a huge fan of how Peterborough conduct themselves via the media/social networks.
Who told us that Beautyman was a target? Peterborough. Who told us that the Beautyman deal was off? Peterborough.
Most of it is to try and coax other clubs into a bidding war but it strikes me as unprofessional (no matter how many fans will consider it as keep supporters in the loop).
Personally, I'd rather not here anything until deals are done... as boring as that can be.

Agree don't like the way Peterborough chairman constantly on Twitter it seems unprofessional the way he goes about things with his and other clubs. I get the impression he likes to hear his own voice and as has already been said about Beautynan it's a wind up to get other clubs bidding for the player or for us to get our finger out. Barry fry was out of order on the same topic about LP having plenty of money to buy the player and to me Peterborough are holding out to squeeze us for as much as they can get.

Despite him suggesting that deals will be done early this pre season we all know that Power likes to keep his cards close to his chest and pull out late deals just before the season starts as he has done in the last two seasons, I don't think that will change now.
Oh and we have signed Vigs and Goddard so far as well as extending the contract of Sendles-White so its like theres been no signings at all.
