Love this line about Diakite: "In 2009, he received his only France national under-20 football team call-up, against Morocco. He was an unused bench." So at least he might be handy in the dug-outs.

No way would Wellington Silva come to L1.
I heard from a Palace mate that we have made enquiries about Jerome Binnom-Williams, but I also see its on the dodgy rumours site so thats a no go probably.

Sounds improbable, but there's something a-brewing with the Arse.

So we can all agree we still need 1X Goalkeeper 1X Centre back 2X Centre Midfielders 1X striker Can imagine the striker will be Callum Robinson on loan from Aston Villa, Just imagine if we got/get Goldson and Moncur too . I doubt it is possible for all to agree on the TEF about anything. Much better to phrase it as a question....can we all agree? Personally I haven't a clue....I know season starts in a fortnight, window stays open til the end of the month, and not withstanding any unexpected injuries we can put out a side with a full quota of subs.

If, as seems likely, we sign 3 of the present triallists, I think we are done re midfielders. Barry is a total cop out.
Defo need a GK and a CB. As for a striker, that depends on whether Smith stays or goes.
Things also depend if we change to 4-3-3
Also, I reckon Brophy could be this season's 'diamond'

Not sure how you can say that as Lee in the past has gone and got what we need? In fact he's over indulged with Cooper? Ricketts for example! We all saw the problems last season when the young uns started to wobble a bit. If a Shawn Taylor was around now he would be worth his weight in gold . Let's see what happens . I like Mr Powers methods.

I thought we had switched to that formation in friendlies so far? With Byrne pushing forward with a left back behind him and the front 2 swapping out wide.

My local non league side had a player last year called Luke Wanadio (pronounced Wan-Adge-e-o)
Every game he was serenaded, to the tune of ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’ by Super grass
“Can you hear us chanting Luke Wanadio? Can you hear us chanting Luke Wanadio?”
I was gutted when he left this close season, not cos he was much kop but because that chant always made me smile
I suppose that's better than "can you hear us pumping Luke Wanadio".
