Players and staff are just starting to get home from their annual leave now. So this week I'd expect the BOO announcement and a few others too. I hope.

My fear is that this is just an easy PR win for the club.
Talk to a highly rater good player. Make an offer, and leak that, knowing that realistically he's going to go somewhere he can get paid 3 times the amount we're offering and have a much better chance of being part of a promotion challenging side.
