Hope we get John swift. Saw him play at the milk cup when he was player of the tournament and Chelsea won it. If he's developed as he should have then he has big potential. He was superb

I've loved the idea of getting loan players from Chelsea ever since we bagged SSP.

It does reinforce our current status, Only other player I can think of loaned by Chelsea to L1 was Bamford at the fakefucks

This is true and even though we have Obika, Williams and Smith there is no other cover up front currently so if one of those 3 gets an injury then there is no striker on the bench as Barker is not fancied by Cooper and will almost certainly be off too this window.
I scored a goal with George Barker on Fifa 15 earlier, we should keep him based on that alone.

John Swift has travelled with the squad to fleetwood so hopefully its all done and he can play tomorrow. It will be important if N Thompson is unfit as we can't move Stephens into Midfield so we need someone to play with L Thompson and Gladwin. Lee Marshal (Youth midfielder) has travelled as well though so we shall see.

Was going to go to Ipswich in November before he got an injury. Seeing as they are 2nd in the Championship he must be fairly useful!

How did Storey do at Portsmouth? I saw plenty of comments from their fans on twitter who were genuinely sorry to see him move on - and plenty of others from our fans who were taking the view that he didn't perform there as he should have done.
Which is true? It would be a shame to see him drop off the radar completely after the promise he showed last year.

Anything to this? Seems plausible. Storey's from Wolverhampton so it would be a move closer to home for him.

And he wrote Gulliver's Travels, too!
versatility - always a good quality in a loan signing.

I know it's not an exact science but if he doesn't perform at a lower level then why would anybody expect him to perform at a higher level?
It's all too easy to get attached to youngsters and hope they'll turn into stars but early promise often fails to develop. Billy Bodin springs to mind.

I have a few mates/colleagues who are Portsmouth fans, they seem pretty split about him. Some in the 'he's amazing' camp and some in the 'he's fucking shit' camp..
