Too cynical of me to think this is paving the way for Williams to leave?
Williams can leave for free in the summer and get a nice signing on fee

Good news regarding Hylton, the promising thing is we are beating other teams to the signing despite paying less. That shows to me that young players are buying into what we are doing.
On the subject of Storey, unless Hylton hits the ground running then surely having Storey on the bench is a better option than Barker
When I saw the line about Hylton signing, for a nanosecond I thought it was the fella at Oxford.

Never heard of him.....
Given our current incumbent's record, I'm excited by him.

I don't know why we're wasting our time signing non league strikers. When did any good ever come of that??

Just got home from a beer or two to see that Miles is back and we've signed a non-league striker? Surely this means that we're preparing for saying cherrio to Willo or Smith?
Although Power did say in an interview "We don't need a striker, but this lad was too good not to look into." I guess one better than having three in-form strikers competing for 2 places, is 4 competing for 2...
EDIT: Although if it was Pompey that ended it, then he'll be out again in no time.

I can, with 99% certainty, state that Miles won't be back at the CG for long.

I'm going to say no to that. I'm going to stick my neck out here and take Power at his word when he says we are not looking to sell anyone. Pompey have let Storey come back because he's not good enough and we've taken a very small punt (low risk/potential high reward) on a non league rough diamond. Simple as that. This is life under Power. Get used to it.

Yeah, just realised. I got home to read loads of tweets about it, but after further reading it's not all bad. Don't worry, I have 100% faith in Power

19 goals this season, not too shabby... although you can't really look too much into that given the league he's playing in.
Good luck to the fella....
Seems as though Portsmouth ended Storey's loan, their fans on social media seem disappointed by the news.

He's a footballer called Jermaine - he's bound to be biscuits!
Beckford, Jenas, Defoe. Is there a bad one?

Sounds like Gruffalo has started making noises about wanting to stay beyond the end of the season.
Norwich have a year's option after his contract runs out this summer.
Sounds a possible goer!
