Can see Ward going, but Roberts to Chesterfield seems less likely to me

KMac will be a busy man if we continue to lose experienced first-team regulars at this rate

...and Brentford want Darren Ward.

Oh FFS. I know its only rumour, but its not too difficult to summise that they have reason to think he's amenable if we make him available.

To lose Ward on top of Flint and Devera would make losing Greer look like a blip by comparison. Disaster.

If we lose player to Chesterfield then with respect we truly are fucked.

Even the happiest of happy clappers (evening BR) couldn't try and play down the blow of losing Ward.  Probably our most important player for next season.

Looks like Brentford are trying to build on their play off dissapointment and go one better next season - fair play to them, if only that was the case with us!

both will be bigger losses if they leave.

beginning to really worry about next season at the moment ward will be a huge loss, got to keep some experience in the team surely

got to wonder if wes is remotely interested in signing an extension when he sees all these players leaving

You sound like you should be posting on the Adver site. Get a grip.

Ward hasn't gone anywhere and might not want to go anywhere. Roberts wouldn't be much of a loss and getting him off the wage bill could actually prove beneficial.

I thought we may keep 4 or 5 half decent players, Wes, Ward, Collins or Williams, Thompson, Roberts and erm, J Mac or TAH will come good, honestly. But....

I reserve the right to change my mind when we sign able replacements. Sigh.

Losing Ward would be a calamity that surely nobody at the club would allow to happen.
I;d expect KMac to treat him as a vital part of the club, quite probably make him captain.
If we're to have a team of mainly young uns he will be needed more than ever and surely a move to Brentford wouldn't be that attractive to him at this stage of his career.

Roberts to Chesterfield - I'd be shocked.  Surprised if they could afford him and surely would be a host of League 1 clubs keen on him (though maybe not for his wages).

Showing interest in a player is a long way from them signing that player.

We are presumably showing an interest in a few players right now.

I mentioned this happy clapper shite before and the reaction I got from a mod was a yawn.

I;ve made an attempt to stop calling people doom mongers because some objected to it. It works both ways. Fucking fix it

Why panic?

I'm not, I'll leave that to TAH at the alamo! I'm a bit depressed at the prospect of losing 3 good centre backs in one summer though.

Do you think Alan Mac will have had a word in Ward's ear before Brentford's interesst. Or is that not cricket/tapping up?

Jed's tweet when asked about the possible departure of Ward:

not currently to my knowledge as we haven't received any offers & would like him to stay
