True, but how many English teams beat Barcelona last season?
Touche. You do understand where I'm coming from though? I just personally don't see the SPL as hugely competitive. It would be nice if he goes up there and does a Gary Hooper, but I don't see it happening.

Completely agree with you, the SPL is a joke league. That said, given the chance, I am sure many footballers would jump at the chance of playing for such a big club, and Scottish or not, they are a massive club.

Maybe even get Jake Cassidy in a swap deal + some money from Wolves?! (Cassidy was the lad who scored the goals for Tranmere pre-Xmas whilst they were top)
I'm sure Wolves will want to get rid of a player capable of scoring the goals in league one to get them straight back up at the first attempt!

Marlon Pack has turned down a new contract at Cheltenham, still wouldn't mind him here.

We should try to keep Wes if possible, he's saved the day many times ,but as it sounds like the new chairman and co don't have any intentions of spending money , who knows. Hey ho that's life at STFC .

Yep, would be a good addition. Depends what the wage packet is like I suppose. I do think he's one of those players who's going to get picked up by a Championship team in a couple of years, so now would be a good time to enlist his services.

Pack would be a brilliant signing. Am I right in thinking that he would be available entirely on a free? Could work out better for us if we do manage to sign him now rather than earlier for a fee (from a financial point of view)

Think it'd be a tribunal jobby as Cheltenham have offered him a deal.

Oh yeh.. Under 23 right? We shouldnt get shafted like we did with Collins & TAH though as we'd already made an acceptable offer, so any tribunal result should surely only be equal or less than that offer?

I heard Fergie resigned so he could take over at Bournemouth - RVP and Ronaldo to follow

We really need to forget signing players that other clubs want. We're back to signing Andy Nicholas' and Charlie Comyn-Platt's I suspect. They may turn out to be world beaters. You never know.
