Getting on a bit. Could probably do a job at this level though.

Harry kewell would still be quality in the championship. Would love it if this was true.

Kewell and Fuller would be ridiculously good but blow our wage budget big time

It would be one hell of a statement of intent
And the 7 signings we've made already aren't??

No thanks. Cost a fortune and be constantly injured. Rather we went with a younger outfit.

Pretty confident with what we have already. Fuller could make a difference, but Kewell, no thanks, bit of a sick note

Was told about the Fuller rumour by a Stoke supporting mate tonight.
I asked what he was like and was told that he's a Stoke legend, only player they've had in recent years who could pull out something special, could still do a decent job at championship but is renowned for being lazy, skipping training etc and has been allowed to get away with this by Pulis.  I can't seen him fitting into di Canio's work ethic - would be a falling out within a month I'd guess.

Harry Kewell, according to Mirror / Dan on Twitter... How old is he now? (Kewell, not Dan)

I keep a pretty close eye on the A-League after I lived in Perth and followed Glory there. The A-League is also shown here in Singapore and after being hailed as the the league's greatest coup and the return of a legend, Harry Kewell was a massive disappointment last season. He was off the pace, in and out of games and seemed to lack any real desire despite being Melbourne's 'marquee' signing and incurring very high wages. We'd be better off getting Kiwi striker Shane Smeltz who is a goal-scoring machine at Glory and scored goals at the last world cup.

Often the tipping point comes when teams think they are above and beyond buying reliable and highly rated players from their own level and start recruiting 'names' for the sake of it. Collins makes more sense than Fuller and Roberts makes more sense than Kewell.

The Daily Star have also picked up the Harry Kewell rumour. a) Red tops so it's bollocks. b) I'm sure this is a re-hash of the vitalfootball story which is just a re-hash of the rumour a couple of weeks back.

He'll probably sign now. Kewell story bro.
