Im not too sure about this Alan Navarro fella and i must first say I have never seen him play. However although he has got league one experience im not too sure if this is the quality that will have us competing at the top. From what I have read thoughout his career he has been having trials earning him self a short term contract then only for him to have his contract terminated by mutual consent or being released. Now hopefully someone on here might have seen him play and quash what i have read but for the time being my socks are still firmly on.

He'll be better than Risser, and more experienced that J.Smith (who can hopefully continue his progression at SN1)

I am not saying he is good or bad but people do seem to be excited about him, just trying to understand and then hopefully feel the same. Very pleased with the news about McEveley news as he seemed solid at the back for us.

He's not the biggest, but he'll work his arse off, Plays the Risser role - but can actually pass a ball. Played a decent amount in the Championship last season and also was part of the Brighton team that won League One. Sounds like a good experienced signing to me.

I agree, WTF you on littlered? he has not been on short term deals and trials at all, you must be mistaking him with someone else. The Navarro I know is a strong tackling hard working defensive midfielder in the mould of Douglas, doesn't get forward often but is a strong holding midfielder thats gives 100% every game.

A solid if not exciting signing - exactly the type you need a few of. A reliable player who has experienced promotion from the league before.
Throw 2/3 of these type of players in, along with exciting signings such as Roberts and Collins, and it is a good mix.

Almost 250 games and only 10 goals, so I hope people are not expecting a goalscoring midfielder!!

After a couple of loans spells with tranmere he finally joined them after which he was again loaned out twice. The he had his contract cancelled by mutual consent. Then a trial with acrington stanely leading to a one year contract but after three substitute appearances joined macclesfield on a two year deal then released. joined Franchise on a one year deal and then earned a one year extension but then again released. Joined brighton on trial and earned a two year deal after which he was told he would not be receiving a new contract but would be invited back to proove his worth after an injury hit season to which he earned a one year deal. Then he was released again of which he is now possible joining us. If i hyad as many employers as he has had i would be asking why. Would we release ritche, absolutley not and that is my point. I expect he will improve us gernerally but im just not sure if players of this calibre will have us smashing this league. The majority of the good pleyers in league 1 are with their clubs under contract and not just released. If anything he will give us experience of league one but then again we have already a few that give us experience in this level. I hope he blows us all away!

As long as he works hard, and scores the odd goal and puts the effort in i don't think many will really care.

Fuck me
Players move clubs littlered. It happens all the time. Gary Roberts didn't have his contract extended either, by your reasoning he must be a bit shit as well.
Some people just go looking look for things to be negative about.
