Cibo suffered at Wembley. He wasn't good when he came on and was seemingly punished for it. I still haven't read much about his injury. If it's as bad as what DV suggested it to being then surely the Adver would have reported it?
I'm sure that both Cibo and Kennedy would have gone had axed if both were out of contract.

Cibo>Kennedy, much better all round game and a lot more consistent
Not saying I’d want him as first choice in League 1 but he will be more than adequate as a back to (hopefully) Jay Mc. Plus he can cover CB if needed as well so offers that little bit in more versatility in squad depth.

I Felt that Cibo improved more as the season went on, whereas Kennedy hasnt improved in 3 years, one thing i hated about kennedy even if he had an option to pass into the centre of midfield he hoofed it down the line.
He was a possession waster, someone that panics on the ball before thinking of what to do with it. i wasnt the only that noticed this during the season.

I think Cibo is physically stronger and thats key for league one. PDC has highlighted it for his transfer business as well.
Additionally Cibo is under contract so if you can get rid you dont want to be paying 3 LB's even if Kennedy is better. So makes sense to me.

You'd have thought so - but he didnt play afterwards and no one has seen him since. Although it wouldnt have been the first time injuries have been left out the public eye - I've seen a few players rehabbing and even on crutches with no mention of any injury anywhere. |

Kennedy improved over the course of the season, maybe it had something to do with Ridehalgh coming in for a short spell.
When he came back into the team towards the end of the sason he looked far more composed than before. He had a blinder against Southend at Roots Hall in January aswell, was excellent in that game.

He played 18 times for Swindon in the league, 11 of them happened before October had even started (before the arrival of Ridehalgh). He couldn't cement as place after that due to Ridehalgh, Cibo and McEveley. Our back line was at its strongest when Kennedy wasn't in the team. He's not to blame for our slow start but you've got to look to the future and ask could Kennedy compete in a L1 side with high aspirations? |

Anyone can have a couple of decent games. If he goes to Scunny then fair play because I don't think he's L1 standard in the slightest.

In the games I saw him before and after Ridehalgh, yes I think he improved. As a back up, he could do a job, not much between him and Cibo. |
