Yeah a Posh fan I follow on there retweeted it, it looked like it came from the official posh account aswell.
Not there anymore though.
Did it say Swindon or STFC? As apparently Shrewsbury have been after him

A mate of mine is a season ticket holder at Cardiff and says Jon Parkin has been made available but we will probably get scared off by his wages rumoured to be around £9k per week. Parkin has been told he can leave for a small fee as Cardiff want him off the wage bill.
He is the sort of massive striker PdC has been after, not sure he could play alongside Benson though.
I don't think he'd cope with a Paolo preseason though. And if he did, he'd no longer be massive. Perhaps they'll let him watch training while consuming pie unt gravy.

Would rather have Steve Howard, who has been released by Leicester.

Turkey fans seem to think that we aren't good enough for O'Kane.
They had a whopping 3,300 paying customers for their play off game against Crewe. Enough said.

Their main stand is being rebuilt, wouldnt be surprised if 3,300 was full capacity for home fans

The likes of Douglas and Cuthbert proved to me last summer that players are willing to go anywhere as long as it's a level above what they could be playing if they stay.

Some Peterborough Twitter account just tweeted about us signing Nicky Ajose off of them. It has since been promptly deleted. Hmmmmm.
He signed a 4 year contract in 2011 so if this is true, cash would be changing hands. Sounds like more of a winger than a striker to me so would be surprised if it was true.

I agree totally, and yes they may have a point that it may not be a good move, no one knows until it happens or not but I personally do think that we are a "going places" club at the moment so should be able to attract players that are probably better than O'Kane, as he has never played outside of League 2 so he may not be able to hack it at a higher level.
One reasoning that other clubs offer that a move to Swindon would not be a good idea is that PDC doesn't allow the squad to settle and tinkers constantly with the squad. This may have been true at the beginning but the squad has been settled for the last few months or so with many players becoming regulars in the side. I can think of 3 positions that are prone to alterations...... J Smith/Risser. Left wing and striker (not Benson). Asides from that, it is usually the same faces in the other positions (bar injuries and suspensions).

Paul Huntington has left Yeovil, a player with plenty of FL experience.
I dare say that he's looking for a move north.
Johnson's losing a fair view players this summer.

Jon Parkin would be skill!
He'd be unreal for L1.
